Deepti Sharma says she was waiting to meet PM Narendra Modi
Upon meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deepti Sharma revealed that she wanted to meet him more than celebrating India's win. "Honestly, I was just waiting to meet you. I still remember what you told me in 2017, that the player who falls but learns to get up and walk again, overcoming their failure, is the one who succeeds," Deepti said.
