Defence stock fall 2% on Tejas crash, Mishra Dhatu Nigam top loser
Defence stock dropped in trade on Monday, taking the Nifty India Defence index down nearly 2%. This comes after Tejas fighter jet crash on November 21 at the Dubai Air Show and Russia-Ukraine’s tentative peace plan muted investor sentiment. Mishra Dhatu Nigam shares were the top loser on the index, falling nearly 5%. Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) shares were down 3.5%.
