Delhi chokes as AQI hits ‘severe’ mark, NDMC doubles parking fees
Delhi's air quality plunged further on Thursday, with AQI levels crossing 400 in parts of the city, marking in the "severe" category. Authorities deployed water sprinklers and doubled NDMC parking fees under GRAP Stage-II to curb vehicle use. From November 1, non-BS-VI trucks will be barred entry. Meanwhile, the government conducted cloud seeding to improve air conditions.
