Delhi govt offers ₹50 lakh prize to curb heavy vehicle pollution
Delhi government has launched an innovation challenge to retrofit BS-IV diesel heavy vehicles to BS-VI standards. "Initial qualifying entries will receive ₹5 lakh for prototype development. Final winners, whose technology clears evaluation by the National Physical Laboratory, will be awarded ₹50 lakh," said Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa. This move aligns with CAQM directives to curb pollution.
