Delhi govt requests ₹1000 cr from centre to tackle air pollution
Delhi government has requested ₹1,000 crore in funding from the Central Government to tackle air pollution in the city. Delhi's Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa stated, "We're conducting a study in Nehru Park...to determine if we can lower the AQI in a particular location." Notably, Delhi faces one of the worst air pollution in the country, especially during winters.
