Delhi-NCR tops India’s most polluted cities list
All ten of India’s most polluted cities in October were from Delhi-NCR and nearby regions, according to a CREA report. Dharuhera topped the list with PM2.5 levels of 123 µg/m³, while Delhi ranked sixth at 107 µg/m³ nearly triple its September average. CREA said stubble burning accounted for less than 6% of pollution, pointing instead to year-round urban emissions.
