Delhi's scrapped liquor policy led to ₹2,026 cr loss: CAG report
A CAG report revealed a revenue loss of ₹2,026 crore to the exchequer due to alleged irregularities in implementation of the now-scrapped liquor policy of Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government in Delhi. It claimed several bidders operating at a loss were granted licenses and decisions were made without LG's approvals. Common man bore the cost while AAP leaders allegedly "received kickbacks".
