The air pollution in Delhi has led to the formation of "black crusts" on the walls of the Red Fort, a study has found. The researchers studied Delhi's air quality data between 2021 and 2023. They scraped off black crust found on walls and discovered that it was formed due to particulate matter and other pollutants in the air.
