Delta Air Lines has sued cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike after its software update caused a global Windows outage in July. Delta alleged it had to cancel 7,000 flights affecting 1.3 million passengers over five days due to CrowdStrike's "catastrophic" update. The airline claimed that the outage costed it over $500 million losses, which it seeks to recover from CrowdStrike.
