Dhankhar's new bulletproof cars request was put on hold by MHA: Report
Jagdeep Dhankhar, who resigned as Vice President recently, sought new bulletproof vehicles last year, citing the age of his three high-security BMWs. However, the Ministry of Home Affairs in June said that it would form a panel to look into it. The then-VP's office decided to opt for a non-bulletproof Innova by November, The Indian Express reported.
