DIIs pump record $80 billion, double FPI outflows of $40 billion
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) recorded inflows of $80 billion in the secondary market over the past 12 months, industry data showed. This figure is double the $40 billion outflows registered by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in the same period. DII investments have now outpaced FPI activity, surpassing levels seen during 2008 and 2022.
