Dil jeet ke aana: Sehwag recalls Vajpayee’s words before Pak tour
Ex-India opener Virender Sehwag, in a Netflix documentary, recalled the time when India squad members met with then-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee before leaving for Pakistan tour in 2004. "He told us, 'This is a friendship tour...Jeeto ya haaro...Dil jaroor jeet ke aana Pakistan awaam ki (Win or lose...but when you go...to Pakistan, win the hearts of Pakistani people)," Sehwag said.
