Actor-Director Rishab Shetty has revealed that singer Diljit Dosanjh "cancelled his shows and took his entire team to rewatch Kantara." Shetty stated that Diljit spoke to him "about his experience of watching Kantara and how the film aligns with his personal beliefs." Diljit has sung the Hindi version of Rebel Song in 'Kantara Chapter 1', the prequel of Kantara.
