Dior unveils coat with India's Mukaish work for ₹1.7cr amid row over Prada Kolhapuris
Amid a row over Prada selling Indian Kolhapuri-style chappals for around ₹1 lakh, a video has shown a Dior overcoat featuring Indian Mukaish embroidery being sold for $200,000 (around ₹1.7 crore). The coat was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week on June 27. According to fashion commentator Hanan Besnovic, it's made over 34 days, with the involvement of 12 artisans.
