Doctor, arrested over planning poison attack in India, beaten by inmates in Gujarat jail
Dr Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed, the prime accused in the Ricin terror conspiracy, suffered injuries during a fight with three undertrial inmates inside Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Central Jail on Tuesday. Saiyed, arrested in an ISIS terror plot, was reportedly planning to poison public drinking water sources and temple prasad in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow. He was making ricin, a lethal biological weapon.
