Doctors made to apologise to Goa Chief Medical Officer's chair after minister scolds him
A "symbolic" apology was made to chair of Goa Chief Medical Officer Dr Rudresh Kuttikar, who was scolded and suspended by Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, triggering protests. "All of us doctors, in front of [CM Pramod Sawant], apologised and pledged...we wouldn't allow [the chair] to be insulted," said Dr Madhu Ghodkirekar, who represented casualty medical officers at meeting with CM.
