Legendary Australian batter Donald Bradman, who passed away on February 25, 2001, scored 100 runs in a span of three overs in a domestic match in 1931. At the time, an over constituted of eight balls and Bradman hit 33, 40, and 27 runs, respectively in three consecutive overs. He scored a total of 256 runs in that innings.
