Double star Eta Cassiopeiae could host habitable worlds
Eta Cassiopeiae, a double star 19 light-years away, may support Earth-like planets. Researchers simulated the orbital dynamics of the star system and concluded that it's not home to any giant planets. But small, Earth-like planets might still be hanging out, they said. Next-generation telescopes could directly image rocky planets and analyse their atmospheres for biosignatures.
