Draft rules for new labour codes coming soon for public input
Four new labour codes, aimed at simplifying employment rules, will be fully implemented from April 2026. Draft regulations will soon be published for public feedback. States can adapt the rules locally. The government seeks to finalise regulations in time for the next financial year, ensuring smoother implementation nationwide.
