Eating ultraprocessed foods raises early colon cancer risk: Study
Frequent consumption of ultraprocessed foods significantly increases risk of early-onset colorectal cancer in adults, a study stated. Researchers tracked 30,000 women over 20 years, all of whom had at least two lower endoscopies before age 50. Women who consumed around 10 servings daily had a 45% higher risk of developing precancerous adenomas, early warning signs of colorectal cancer.
