Economics interfering with art: Nandita Das on box office pressure
Actor-filmmaker Nandita Das spoke about the rising obsession with box office number at cost of creativity. She said, "Economics is interfering so much with art these days...For any form of art, time's the only true judge." She admitted to staying away from the race, and said, "If you want it and you're resisting, then it's challenging...But it doesn't tempt me."
