After South Africa defeated India by 30 runs in three days in the Eden Gardens Test, ex-India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin said, "If someone calls this Eden Gardens pitch a turner, I won't agree with them one bit." He added, "It was proper wicket preparation that went awry...It was quite dangerous...You cannot give a turner in Eden Gardens."
