Eden loss an eye-opener; stop picking part-time all-rounders: Gavaskar
Ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar called India's defeat in the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens an eye-opener. He further urged the management not to pick part-time all-rounders, apparently taking a dig at their continued backing of Nitish Kumar Reddy. "A player who only offers a few overs or a few runs is not what Tests demand," Gavaskar added.
