Egyptians safeguarded pyramids with curses, not booby-traps
Ancient Egyptians didn't use booby traps to safeguard pharaohs' tombs, but used tricky mazes, fake doors, and curses to scare thieves. The Egyptians would bury treasures such as food, furniture, clothes, jewellery, and gold with the pharaohs, as they believed he would need them in his afterlife. Tomb robbery was a serious crime with harsh punishments.
