Elderly woman walks again after high-risk hip surgery at KIMS
KIMS Hospitals, Thane, successfully performed a high-risk hip replacement on a woman in her 60s with multiple conditions, including osteoporosis, Sjogren's syndrome, RTA, and anaemia. After weeks of immobility and severe pain, a multidisciplinary team stabilised her, performed surgery, and guided physiotherapy, helping her walk again and prepare for discharge.
