ESA's JUICE to study comet 3I/ATLAS during interstellar flyby
ESA's JUICE spacecraft, built to study Jupiter's moons, will examine interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS during a close pass on November 4, from about 64 million kilometres away. Using five instruments, JUICE will analyse the comet's composition, dust, and plasma environment. The data for the comet, which is the only third confirmed object from outside solar system, is expected by February 2026.
