EU gives Ukraine €1 billion in aid from frozen Russian assets
Ukraine has received around €1 billion (around ₹9,943 crore) of aid from the EU covered by the proceeds from frozen Russian assets. This was the fifth tranche of macro-financial aid from the EU under Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative. EU has so far given €150 billion in aid to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of the territory.
