EU sees rise in homelessness, Germany & France lead
At least 895,000 people are homeless across Europe on any given night, according to a FEANTSA report. Germany leads with 262,645 homeless people (2022 census), followed by France with 209,074 (2021 census). The Czech Republic, with over 300,000 refugees, has the highest number of refugees per capita. Only Finland and Denmark have shown demonstrable progress in reducing homelessness so far.
