Even Pak, B'desh have lower tariffs: Tharoor as Trump hikes tariff
After US President Donald Trump announced 25% additional tariffs on India, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, "Even Bangladesh and Pakistan have lower tariffs than us." Tharoor stated, "Ultimately, people will not be buying goods from us in America if they can buy them cheaper elsewhere." Trump imposed additional tariffs after accusing India of helping Russia by buying oil from them.
