EVMs to be upgraded, Bihar to be 1st state where candidates' photos will appear in colour
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Sunday announced upgradation in the electronic voting machines (EVMs). The CEC said that people usually complained about facing difficulty in identifying black and white pictures of candidates. So starting with Bihar elections, the coloured photographs of candidates will be used in EVMs and the serial number font will also be larger.
