Ex-Google executive Mustafa Suleyman, hired to lead Microsoft AI, poached at least 24 ex-colleagues for his new employer, WSJ reported. He's personally calling recruits, mirroring Mark Zuckerberg's style, and attempting to convince them by describing Microsoft as a more startup-like workplace than DeepMind. Google's Indian-origin ex-VP (engineering) Amar Subramanya is among the poached employees.
