Exercise caution over Taiwan: China in warning to US
China's Defence Minister Dong Jun told US to "exercise caution" over Taiwan, warning against supporting its independence and emphasising China's commitment to peaceful development, while vowing to "resolutely" safeguard national security. The minister's comments came amid his meeting with his US counterpart Pete Hegseth in Malaysia where the two met for an ASEAN defence summit.
