Eyewitness at Bengaluru stadium describes panic and horror
Mohammed Hussain, an MBA student, saw the Bengaluru stampede unfold. “Once the gate fell open, everybody outside tried to get inside and caused a stampede,” he said. A person fell after getting stuck in a barricade and was trampled by hundreds. Hussain tried to help the victim and later took him to the hospital.
