Families sleep on beaches, pavements in Beirut to escape Israeli airstrikes
Multiple families have fled to Ramlet al-Baida beachfront in Beirut to sleep on the beach and on pavements to escape Israeli airstrikes. Israel carried out airstrikes for nearly five hours before dawn on Saturday. Some people laid down mattresses on pavements and towels on the beach. "Whoever doesn't have a car is fleeing by scooter or foot," a person said.
