Astronomers have observed a rogue planet undergoing a growth spurt, making it the fastest-growing planet ever discovered. The planet, called Cha 1107-7626, was observed using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (ESO's VLT). University of St Andrews researchers found that Cha 1107-7626 is growing at six billion tonnes a second.
