Floodwater enters Prayagraj's Hanuman temple, priests perform rituals in water
A video showing floodwaters from the Ganga and Yamuna rivers entering the Bade Hanumanji Temple premises has surfaced online. The deity can be seen submerged in water. Despite the rising waters, temple priests carried out the rituals of aarti (lamp worship) and abhishekam (ritual bathing of the deity) while being in water before the temple was closed for safety.
