Food order leads to arrest of Indian-origin businessman accused in ₹900-cr Dubai scam
Indian-origin businessman Ravindra Nath Soni, key accused in a ₹900-crore BlueChip Group scam in Dubai, was arrested in Dehradun due to a food delivery order. The arrest comes following an 18-month-long international manhunt. Soni had allegedly scammed people by promising high returns on a scheme, but disappeared along with other senior staffers when cheques started to bounce.
