France could send nuclear-armed jets to Germany: Reports
France is prepared to send fighters jets armed with nuclear weapons to be stationed in Germany, according to reports. This comes after Friedrich Merz, who is likely to be next German Chancellor, urged UK and France to extend their nuclear protection to Germany. France's nuclear arsenal is estimated to contain around 300 warheads.
