Fugitive father, on run with children for 4 yrs, shot dead in NZ
A New Zealand man who had been on the run with his three children for four years was shot dead by police on Monday. Authorities confirmed that the children are safe in custody. The man, identified as Tom Phillips, disappeared with his children in late 2021 and had evaded capture despite a nationwide search after losing a legal custody battle.
