Israel-Hamas ceasefire came into effect and Israeli troops began to pull back from Gaza on Friday. "Troops began positioning themselves along updated deployment lines in preparation for the ceasefire agreement and the return of hostages," said Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This came after Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's Cabinet approved US President Donald Trump's ceasefire plan.
