Two in three gig workers view festive season jobs not just as source of extra income but as pathways to full-time employment, Indeed reported. It revealed that three out of four festive recruits remain on temporary contracts, as 53% of employers stick to short-term hires. The number of temporary hires increased by 7% between April-September this year compared to 2024.
