Giorgio Armani fined 3.5 mn euros for unfair commercial practices
The fashion group Giorgio Armani and one of its units has been fined 3.5 million euros (nearly ₹35 crore) for alleged unfair commercial practice by Italy's antitrust regulator, reported Reuters. Armani's accused of "misleading ethical and social responsibility statements" in contrast to actual working conditions of suppliers and subcontractors. Armani has rejected accusations, pushing for appeal.
