Goa officer welcomed with flowers, drums; show-cause notice issued
Ajay Gaude, incumbent Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, took additional charge as Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa but soon faced a show-cause notice after colleagues and well-wishers welcomed him with flowers, music, and drums. Goa Chief Secretary V Candavelou issued the notice, stating that such behaviour "amounts to conduct unbecoming of a government servant".
