Gold, silver hit new record highs in international market
Gold and silver both hit new record highs in the international market on Tuesday amid renewed US and China tensions and US Federal Reserve rate cut expectations. Spot gold rose over 2% to cross the $4,100/ounce for the first time, while spot silver rose to a peak of $52.12/ounce, Reuters reported. As per analysts, gold may hit $5,000 in 2026.
