Gold hits 2-week high in international market amid economic slowdown concerns
The price of spot gold hit a two-week high on Monday as it rose 1.8% to $4,070.99 per ounce. This comes amid expectations of another US Federal rate cut in December and concerns of a global economic slowdown. Meanwhile, gold futures with December expiry also rose in the Indian market to hit ₹1,23,202 per 10 gm, as per MCX website.
