Google partners with TotalEnergies for Ohio solar energy project
TotalEnergies signed a 15-year deal to supply Google with 1.5 terawatt-hours of solar power from its Montpelier solar farm in Ohio, supporting the tech giant data centers. The facility, tied to the PJM grid, underscores the growing need for clean energy amid AI-driven data demand. TotalEnergies aims to deploy 10 gigawatts of US renewable capacity.
