Govt issues gazette listing gallantry awards for defence personnel
Government issued a gazette notification listing gallantry award citations for defence personnel for different operations, including Operation Sindoor. President Droupadi Murmu approved 127 Gallantry awards and 40 Distinguished Service awards to the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces personnel. Colonel Koshank Lamba and Lieutenant Colonel Sushil Bisht have been conferred the Vir Chakra.
