Govt launches helpline to complain against GST rate cuts
The CBIC has enabled consumers to file complaints if businesses fail to pass on GST rate cut benefits. Complaints can be made via the National Consumer Helpline (1915), WhatsApp, or the INGRAM portal. The new GST structure, effective from September 22, reduced slabs to two rates, 5% and 18%, cutting prices on many goods. Officials are monitoring compliance.
