Hackers claim they stole almost 1 billion Salesforce records, firm denies
Hacker group 'Scattered LAPSUS$ Hunters' has alleged it stole almost 1 billion Salesforce records, which contain personally identifiable information, Reuters reported. However, a spokesperson for the US-based company denied the claims, saying, "At this time, there's no indication that...Salesforce...has been compromised." The group also claimed responsibility for the M&S, Co-op and JLR hacks.
