'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' director Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed that he had approached Ayushmann Khurrana for lead role but he was busy with some other project. "We wanted to make this film at...right time. I felt Rajkummar Rao was a perfect fit for this role. Thus, I did it with him," Raaj added. Film was released on October 11.
